'1940's era Kate Beckinsale Pearl Harbor Hairstyle
Not a great style for high humidity environments, as is evident by the way the style changes during Evelyn's stay in hawaii. If it weren't for Beckinsale's natural waves, I doubt this style would have been attempted, for the film. Lipstick I'm wearing is actually one of the ones that Julie Hewett created on the set of the film. Marcel Waving Technique with 1940's/50's Styling
I love to Marcel Wave and I am kicking myself for not having done a style utilizing it before. Remember that the curling iron you use (if you have an actual Marcel Waver, good for you!), should be similar in size to the rollers you use. Very important. Other than that, the technique is only limited by your imagination. You can do this all over the head or just on the side, like mine. You can do it w/ tiny sponge rollers and a super skinny iron or with larger hot rollers and a larger iron... Thanks for Watching...
