For anyone wondering, 30:10 is "Dont want it to be over"

As it seems like you are an expert on this topic, what's the best version you found? So far, my favorite is from the Live at The Regent Theater opening for Vulfpeck. Theo on the drums is killing it

<3 When i go into a lot of his concert videos, I usually wanna hear "dont want it to be over" and "take mine"

You had "blue-eyed soul" in the 60s and 70s. "High School Soul" is what I would call Joey. Hope he goes a long way :-)

What is the name of that song from around the 30min mark. The chorus is I don't want it to be over. I've searched with lyrics and google and everything, but can't find it. Wonderfull music btw, they all do good work.

I'm not 100% sure but I think It's a Joey Dosik original but it isn't on any album of his yet.

Joey is such an amazing talent. He a great musician, songwriter and singer. I can hear Motown, Burt Bacharach, and Bill Withers ( that he also opens with) and isn't there a touch of Marvin Gaye Amazing guy

I just saw him a few days ago at the King show in SF, and he did the same opening song, which I really love. What's the name of the song? Any recording of it somewhere?

I want to thank whoever posted this.. I've been playing it in the hospital while I am waiting with my son who is having massive complications from a burst appendix.. Love Joey's music (a recent convert.. found him at the Allen Stone gig) and listening to a LIVE version somehow makes me feel connected outside these hospital walls.. I lost my ipod somewhere.. but when i find it/buy another.. will be buying his tracks. as I do believe artists should be supported. But you just can't beat the human connection & respite of this heartfelt 46.45 minutes.

Hope your son is doing better. I've kinda felt the weight of the world lately and this really does help.
