Of all the tutorials I've watched (and found on Pinterest), yours is the best for sure! I can't wait to try these!! Have/could you make something to contain a set of 4 or 6? Living in the NW where everything is naturally rustic, these will be perfect Christmas gifts for anyone. Not too feminine or masculine. Woot woot!

Ok, I was able to send them via Facebook Instant message.

Dana Edmonds That is awesome! I'm glad I could help! Youtube won't allow pictures in the comments, but if you go to my facebook page "Brandon Lund DIY builds" or clink the facebook page link on my YouTube Channel or the link below, you can post directly there. They are done! The stain I used was a little dark, but only makes them look even more realistic. Also, I thought while we're at it let's try it with tongue depressors. They turned out awesome. So of course I want to post photo's with my comment but I don't see the option to. How should I go about that?

Brandon Lund thanks so much! I picked up my supplies tonight and my husband and I are doing this project together. I'm just now sitting down to try/practice assembly. And yes... I'll post the finished product. Thanks Brandon. 😊

What did you do with that cloth after you cut the depressors?
Brandon Lund (4 months ago)
I used it to wipe on a thin layer of stain on the depressors.

Excellent just EXCELLENT! what did you spray at the end?
Brandon Lund (1 year ago)
That was just some clear enamel I had left over from other projects. It should help protect the coasters for a while :)

Every DIYer should have a set of these. I think they would also make good Stocking Stuffers this Christmas.

+Carson Jensen Thanks buddy! I recently had someone pick one of them up and say "you should really put felt on the back, so those nails don't damage your table". That was music to my ears. Thanks for watching man

+Brandon Lund nice! im gonna try it out :) very cool videos by the way! fan from Barbados!

+Christopher Clarke I started out with wiping on Golden Oak being careful not to put it on too heavy. Then once it was completely together I used dark walnut with a brush.

+Brandon Lund very nice ...what type of stain did you use for that effect?
Brandon Lund (2 years ago)
+Christopher Clarke I had a used can of automotive clear coat sitting around so I used that to seal them.
