How a Chainsaw Pulled from a Dumpster Earns me a FREE MEAL

80 ratings | 864 views
Watch how a chainsaw pulled from a dumpster earns me a FREE MEAL. Trash to Cash! I found a broken non running Sears chainsaw in a dumpster and my wife bet me dinner that I would not be able to get it running without spending any money to fix it. She said I could only use things I already own (like gas, penetrating fluid, tools) I could not spend any money. Hopefully this will give you guys some ideas on how to quickly DIY troubleshoot and fix some common issues and problems with small engines and small equipment. You can also use this knowledge to repair discarded items like I did here but resell them for a huge profit. Nice work, had a similar situation, welding shop boss said if I welded a frame up he would give me a job, so I did and he gave me a broom and dustpan.

Trouble with chainsaws is ya just can't hit 'em with a hammer, lmao!! I have 3 and we have a guy, lmao!! Funny thing is though, if they are prepared properly for off season storage, we've only once had a problem (been using chainsaw for nearly 50 years) they'll last, just keep the plugs and clutches up to them. Latest 3 are a 612 twin cylinder Echo (just about ready for the pension), big 572 Husqy, and a small 170 Stihl, all run and are used often. Enjoy the fruits of your labour my friend, 😆😆 🇦🇺 🍺🍺

@Pilot McBride Hahaha I bet!

My cutting mates used Solos & husqies and my echo would beat ‘em cutting. The Echo made them sound like they were 4 strokes, lmao.

Twin cylinder? I bet that thing is a beast! This is the 2nd chainsaw I have found that someone threw away because the gas went bad and the carburetor got plugged up. I guess it's easier to throw it away and just buy a new one. I prefer to keep the stuff I have maintained. Their loss is my gain i guess lol.
