The velcro rollers always tangle in my hair. I had one stuck while getting ready for a job interview! Lol I was driving there while still trying to get it out. Fortunately it was a job for a beauty store.
Thank you for sharing! I love your hair- blondes, can you let us know what your base/brand color is and bleach brands and peroxide. Live in Florida, I have similar blonde chunks though the hairdressers can’t seem to get it right - like yours. I like bright, very lite, though not white. Some bright yellow honey colors also. I Like Dimensions. I have fine hair, though a lot of it so they pull too much and it all blends. Do you do slices? Would love to come to your salon. Maybe you can refer me or do a video on your touch ups. Thank you. I appreciate all your fabulous tips. Hair Colorist’s are terrible here in SE Florida- Boca/ Ft. Lauderdale. Please advise if you can🌞
You would cry if you saw me style my hair. I am going to try your methods altho I am just a nightmare trying to style my own hair. I really appreciate the fact that you incorporate other methods from other tutorials, so I don't have to go back and forth on how to do things. I also have fine hair and mine is very curly. I sometimes let my hair air dry and do the curly thing. Love your tutorials!
I've used the 3" velcro rollers for years with my fine wavy hair. I've used this method before but it doesn't seem to work as well for me as using them as I blow dry my hair. I rough dry then I use the Aveda volumizing tonic, some thermal protectant spray and my 3.5" Olivia Garden round brush. As I dry each section & the hair is still warm I then wrap that section around a roller. By the end I'm all wrapped in big rollers then I move on to my makeup & let them sit. When I finally take them out I have a ton of all day volume. I'd love to see what crazy volume you'd get with that method!
What temperature do you have your flat iron set on? I have a Remington flat iron and the settings are up to 30 going by multiples of 5. I wanna try this technique with my Velcro rollers and I wasn’t sure what temperature to set my flat iron.
What do you recommend for damaged blonde hair (detangler)? I tried the volumizer from Aveda but my hair broke off from it. Also I have very long blonde hair, what length do you think would be good? Do you like your having your hair shorter?
Harmony, Do you wash your hair daily? Before I go and purchase all these wonderful products, how would this product 'cocktail' handle a couple dirty days? I have fine blond hair and like to wash every 3rd day.
I love your hair... we all do. You kindly responded to a question I asked, last year. I've lost your comment ... grrrr. So I'm going to ask you again, in the hope that you can answer me... again. Lol. Okay so I'm in my late 50's and have been having my hair coloured for around 40 years, by different people and at different places. My base colour is a warm yucky dark blonde. I guess it's a 7 on the colour spectrum. I used to have it just like yours... I'd have some of my natural colour, then a light gold and then lots of very white bits around the front and sides... it always looked fab. Then my hairdresser retired.... argh! I've never been able to find anyone to do the same thing. For some reason, hairdressers do not leave bleach on my hair long enough (it takes ages to lift) and so it looks brassy. I currently do my regrowth with Wella Colour Touch Plus (7) and my hairdresser does balayage blonde. The last time I went was a waste of money and no matter how much I tell her it's not light enough, she doesn't listen. Time to find someone new. I wish you were over here in the UK. Anyway (I'm waffling), you advised me about the Aveda colours you use on your hair. Wondered what base you use (although your natural base might be different to mine), and if I use some powder bleach (I bought some Wella Blondor), should I mix it with 20 or 30 volume? I think she was using 30 vol and leaving it on for 30 mins, but it was a very dark gold. Sorry for the length of message. x
I just found your channel yesterday & have been binge watching your videos since and have to say, you are gorgeous! Even without makeup you are beautiful and your personality makes you even more beautiful! Where do you have your live streams? Instagram? YouTube? Facebook? Twitch? I'd love to watch you when you're live so I have the opportunity to interact with you. So far, I've really enjoyed your content! Merry Christmas!!!💞
I'm not sure where you are located, but being a stylist I love the Chi brand, but they are on the upper $80+ price range....BUT recently while shopping at TJ Maxx I seen that they had several CHI flatirons around $30-40!! Which is an amazing deal...I guess they are left overs of older colors from past seasons that didn't sell for retail! So again, not sure where you live, but I'd give they a try! I've tried a ton of flat irons and it is by far my favorite. If you can't score one of those for that price, look into GHD flat irons... I think Sallys Beauty Supply carries that brand...not 100% on that!
But hope that helps in some way!!!
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
so lucky to find ur channel. ther are so many channels but u the MASTER of all. I feel like i m sitting in a saloon and my hair dresser is showing me step by step. love love love 💕watched your all videos from the start and learned a lot.
I love your hair style!..what cut do I ask my hairdresser to do?..I find it almost impossible to get any hairdresser to do a choppy textured layered affect! with keeping the length. Can you give me any suggestions on how to ask for it to be done like your style please??.really would appreciate it . Great vid hun!
Hi Harmony! I really am grateful for your tutorials. I always and self-conscious about having volume in my hair. My hair is very straight and fine. I love your haircut. I was wondering if it would be good for me. I am in terrible need of a haircut and will be going hopefully within the next week. Could you tell me what kind of haircut you have or possibly recommend a version of your haircut for someone like me with straight, fine hair. Usually when I go to the salon I always give in to what the stylist says which is let's layer everything and then I leave feeling a bit sad. Sorry if it is out of line for me to ask this of you. Also so sorry for the very long comment. Thank you XOXO
Hello! Thank you! So, I think this haircut would work for you. I have a blunt cut, no layers. With lots of texture throughout. The back is a little bit shorter than the front starting at about my ears.
Hey I was wondering if there is anyway you could make a video showing how to get curly hair T hats not frizzy. My hair is really thick, and the top layer of my hair is wavy and the rest underneath is very very curly. My hair changed a lot a couple years ago when I was taking medicine and it fell out in chunks and grew back in curly. I put a lot of products and hair masks on my hair and even with your blow drying tutorial my hair is a frizzy mess. I read online about the diffusers and was wondering if you can make a video about it and give me your opinion. I'm sure a lot of,women have the same issue. I'm open to any suggestions from everyone. Even letting it air dry still makes it frizzy. Thank you for your time
Do you still use all of the same Aveda hair products in your hair that you did in your blow dry video from a year ago? Was just curious if your routine had changed at all. LOVE following you on here & Insta by the way! You're the sweetest!! :o)
Im just guessing but i think texture is the way they cut the hair instead of just taking the scissors straight across they do differant cuts lol but not as much as textures lol i cant explain what im thinking haha
