I'll stick to magnetic or old fashioned or foam rollers
Nicolas Jurnjack Hair (2 months ago)
Great, use what works best for you, there are more than a dozen varieties of rollers on the market. Technique varies slightly—some are more effective when starting with wet hair and others more effective with a dry hair base. Whatever you decide it's important that the hair is thoroughly dry and cool to the touch before removing the rollers. Hot/warm hair is very fragile and easily loses its shape.

Great video ! What is the size (diameter) of the roll ?
Nicolas Jurnjack Hair (2 months ago)
@Zouzou Saga. The rollers are approx.1.75. Note: measurements are not consistent across all brands, and some brands have as many as five or more sizes to choose from. Best way to decide what size rollers to use is decide the style, shape and feeling you're looking to create. Larger roller = soft shape, gentle waves and curls, can be used to add height and volume at the root. Smaller rollers = small, tight, more defined waves and curls. Less height and volume at the root. You can also use different sized rollers together. Examples: https://nicolasjurnjack.com/#/fashion-magazine-covers-vogue/ https://www.instagram.com/nicolasjurnjack/

Umm those freaking Velcro rollers pull your hair I just had some in was not fun pulling it out🤬
Vicki Roadman (2 months ago)
unroll the rollers like you rolled them up
Nicolas Jurnjack Hair (2 months ago)
Hi Summer Wallace, try foam rollers. But, as with any type of roller used, the trick is "never pull" them out. Step 6: Unwinding the Rollers: 11:09 "release the hair carefully from the rollers, never pull..." .

The roller color is the same that the model's color eyes

if u do this with the hair wet is better
Nicolas Jurnjack Hair (2 months ago)
@JL - You can use rollers with wet hair, but a different base preparation and technique is needed, side bonds are easily broken by water making wet hair more fragile. There are also rollers that are more suitable for a wet hair base. Most important is the careful preparation of the base: de-tangling, moisturizing, using a leave-in conditioner or serum are key to decreasing breakage.
Alaina Thomas (3 months ago)
doing this with wet hair is actually very bad for it. Hair should be nearly dry when putting in rollers, because wet hair shrinks as it dries which can cause breakage when the wet hair is tightly wrapped around a roller

Hi, I can not seem to get the velcro rollers out of my hair without extreme tangling and ripping. I know you have to unroll them, but they won't, I guess because my hair is so fine. Is there an alternative type of roller for a similar end result?
Beth Ann (2 months ago)
You can also try magnetic rollers on a wet set. They are smooth. just make sure you clip them in place really well.
Nicolas Jurnjack Hair (1 year ago)
Sponge rollers are good alternative. The trick is to be patient and do it slowly that way less likelihood of the rollers getting tangled up in the hair.

How long do you keep the dryer thing on for?
Nicolas Jurnjack Hair (1 year ago)
Hi, Thanks for your question and apologies for late response. If you look at the video at around 09:43 there are 3 different options for drying, the hot hat takes around 10-12 minutes.
