Nothing new here - this is exactly what I had to do in the 60's and 70's - nothing new here.
Brittany R (2 months ago)
Jo Ann Lewis I don’t think she said this was a new style. You didn’t start the style either but everyone is not aware of the versatility in styles of natural, Afro textured hair.
Dumfries Spearhead (1 year ago)
Jo Ann Lewis Except that the fashion today is more for weaves. But fashion is circular, so maybe this style is coming back......

What do you do at night time?
CurlyinColorado (2 years ago)
Sometimes I do the pineapple method with a loose ponytail on top of my head or just re-roll my hair with satin rollers.
Esther Torres (2 years ago)
What can I use if I dnt have setting spray? Great video
CurlyinColorado (2 years ago)
You can still do the roller set with moisturizer or leave-in conditioner. The setting lotion just gives the curls hold. The method really works best with wet hair regardless of the products used.
R•A•V•E•N (2 years ago)
Which one is best for a roller set on natural hair? Foam or setting lotion?
R•A•V•E•N (2 years ago)
CurlyinColorado Oh ok, thanks!!
CurlyinColorado (2 years ago)
It all depends on your preference. I have use both and prefer the setting lotion by Elasta Qp.

How Much Water Did & Mousse Did You Use ?
CurlyinColorado (3 years ago)
I usually add a couple tablespoons worth of setting lotion to a bottle and the rest is water.
MyCookie Fanz (3 years ago)
there was such a big differnce at the before and after
bushkin54 (3 years ago)
Hi, I'm a new sub, sorry if this question had been asked already but which setting lotion do you use? ☺️x
CurlyinColorado (3 years ago)
+bushkin54 Hi there! I like to use the one by Elasta QP but diluted. I've noticed that with ANY setting lotion, they seem to work better for me when I dilute them with water. Hope that helps and thank you for subbing :)
Josie (3 years ago)
this definitely helped! subbing!
CurlyinColorado (3 years ago)
Thank you!
Jenni C (3 years ago)
must admire your patience my hands started paining after sometime XD
CurlyinColorado (3 years ago)
+Jenni C I know. I wish it didn't take me so long to do these or I would rock this style all the time.
Naomi Lovelace (3 years ago)
this was a helpful video nice hair style👍
CurlyinColorado (3 years ago)
@Bob Hill For me, they last a few days or so.  They last longer if you continue to use satin rollers each night.

Does this work on Crochet braiding hair?
CurlyinColorado (3 years ago)
Cool!   Thanks for the support.  I hope it works for you!
@CurlyinColorado thank you love yoyr vide im glad I was suggested this video from a friend
CurlyinColorado (3 years ago)
+Daphneamy360 Hmmm. . . I'm not sure. When I used synthetic hair for braiding, I had to use hot water to help set it with rollers. There are lots of videos on the subject so it's worth a try. Just be careful with the hot water :)
K Miller (3 years ago)
Any roller set is trial and error.. Just depends on the product, rollers, and your hair... It came out cute....
